About St. Stephen Mission
Saint Stephen the Protomartyr Antiochian Orthodox Mission is a new Orthodox Christian community serving Southeast Houston and the surrounding area.
We gather to worship God, grow in the ancient Christian faith, and build a parish community rooted in prayer, fellowship, service, and love for Christ.
As an Antiochian Orthodox mission, we are rooted in the Church of Antioch, where “the disciples were first called Christians,” and are part of the ancient Antiochian Patriarchate.
All are welcome, whether you are Orthodox, new to the area, returning to the Church, or simply exploring the Christian faith. Come and pray with us as we grow together in the life of the Church.

Upcoming Events

Our Future Home
By God’s grace, St. Stephen Mission is moving forward with the purchase of a permanent home at:
2217 Theta Street Houston, TX 77034
As we prepare the property for Orthodox worship and parish life, financial contributions will help with needed repairs, upgrades, and beautification.
We are grateful for your prayers and support as we prepare God’s house in Southeast Houston.
Support the Mission
As St. Stephen Mission grows and prepares its future home, your support helps provide for repairs, upgrades, beautification, utilities, insurance, supplies, and the ongoing life of the mission.
Recurring giving is especially helpful as we plan responsibly for the work ahead.
You may give online through Tithely.
For other giving options, please contact Fr. Mark at info@orthodoxhoustonsoutheast.org.
